A platform we believe in

Early 2023 in Hannover, Germany: Henrik and Ben share a passion for Counter Strike. They enjoy playing the game and being part of the growing community and culture surrounding it. The same goes for the many items and skins of CS, which have become a universe of their own: What knife/glove combo looks the best? Who's got the rarest skin in their inventory? Which collection should I invest in? Where can you trade skins on the most favourable conditions? The skin market is constantly evolving and the next exciting trade is always just a click away. Then one day, a crazy idea was born: "Why don't we just set up our own trading platform for CS skins?" This was the start of our adventure with 49Skins.

Let's put the fun back in it

There are hundreds of platforms out there, so why open up a new one? The problem was that no matter where we looked, we always found aspects we didn't like, from high fees to outdated interfaces to annoying location restrictions that made sites inaccessible. Despite having many options to choose from, no Counter Strike skin trading platform out there was able to live up to our ideal standard.
With many ideas and improvements in mind, we knew we could create a platform that would tick all the boxes: Convenient and easy to use, transparent, secure and most importantly… fun! After all, trading skins should be just as enjoyable as playing.

Users can connect their Steam account to 49Skins without any regional restrictions. You no longer have to jump through hoops and purchase external credit or take risks with unfamiliar payment providers. The transaction fee is split between buyer (2.5%) and seller (4 5.5% or less), and that's it. Trading skins is the only service you pay for on our platform - no subscriptions, no extra charges, no bullsh*t.
